HAND-CRAFTED
While some brewers delve deep into the chemistry of their beer, we take a different approach. We brew like we cook: tasting often, trusting our instincts, catering to our patrons, and following a whim if we want to try something different. Our brewery is a place where creativity is encouraged. Taste for yourself at Tattooed Dad.
WE ARE MICRO
The industry has moved toward craft beer, but we are micro, perhaps even nano, brewing ½ barrel batches—15 gallons—at a time. In 2024 we brewed less than 50 barrels making us one of the smallest breweries in the Pine Tree State. But our small size doesn't diminish our dedication to our craft.
WE ARE LOCAL
We've sourced all of our base malts—½ acre worth of grain—from Maine Malt House since 2023. When crafting our seasonal ales and hard seltzers, we use fresh, locally-sourced fruit whenever possible, and whole frozen fruit when it is not.
WE ARE PROLIFIC
We enjoy brewing a variety of wheats, browns, darks, IPAs, seasonal ales, light beers, non-alcoholic options, and hard seltzers. Our small size allows us to have fun. New selections appear on our menu regularly.
SNACKS & POTLUCK
We sell a variety of savory and sweet nibbles. Fresh-popped popcorn is on the house, and you may bring your own snacks. We host a potluck when there is live music. We provide the dinnerware, our patrons bring the meal. It's fun, and whether or not you contribute a dish, all are welcome to help themselves.

ONE LAST THING
A wise, old neighbor once told us you must diversify to survive. To that end, Tattooed Dad Brewing Co. is not our sole gig. Cody is a tattoo provider, musician, and carpenter. Jenny is a writer, volunteer coordinator, and homemaker. We also have kids, and friends and family who deserve our time. Tattooed Dad Brewing Co. is at its best when it is in balance with the rest of our lives.
